tracked in a basement with no heat. one mic. one shitty interface. a tape echo that won't stop drifting. we kept the drift.
mixed twice — once at home, once at the kitchen table. mastered to tape and never re-mastered. what you hear is the second pass and the only pass.
the cassette is a real-time dub from a CrO₂ master. we sit at the deck and run them off in real time, two at a time. it takes us a week to do a hundred. that's why there are 200.
